We offer a strengths based, child centred, learning environment with play as the vehicle for learning; with the children’s interests, ideas and wonderings as the inspiration of the learning program.

With a focus on building positive quality relationships, social and emotional development and wellbeing, we support the children to build a strong sense of belonging at our kindergarten.

Our floor book highlights some of the learning that has taken place over the week, and we encourage families to both look at and contribute to this book.

The Early Years Learning Framework provides the basis for our program, with 5 learning outcomes:

• Outcome 1: Children have a strong sense of identity.
• Outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world.
• Outcome 3: Children have a strong sense of wellbeing.
• Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners.
• Outcome 5: Children are effective communicators.

Each child has an individual Portfolio Book, which captures some of the learning that has taken place while at kindy.
